As the Holidays rapidly approach we have decided to share some of the cocktail recipes we have been working on for the season. The first two were created for Patron Tequila and the Knife and Fork in Atlantic City. They take a fresh approach to classic holiday flavors and allow Patron Reposado Tequila to do the work. the bulk of the work is done in advance to allow for a quick cocktail build and the bar to reduce customer wait time will offering solid modern cocktails or you as the host to enjoy the festivities.

Spiced Pear Cocktail
This cocktail is well balanced and strong, it allows the Patron Barrel select to shine.
•2oz of Patron Barrel Select Reposado
•2oz of Spice Pear Simple Syrup
Garnish: Whole pear slice, cinnamon stick and star anise pod
pear garnish against side of old fashioned glass and then pack with crushed ice. Combine in mixing glass with whole ice cubes, stir and then strain into prepared glass. Finish garnish with cinnamon stick pushed in ice near pear and star Anish placed on top, straw should be placed near cinnamon stick.
Spice Pear Simple Syrup
•2 bosc pears (cut pear in half and slice into 1/4” pieces)
•2 cup of Demerara sugar
•2 cup of water
•1/2oz Madagascar vanilla extract
•3 cinnamon sticks
•3 star anise pods
•2 whole nutmeg (Smash, do not grind so nutmeg can be easily strained from syrup)
•12 whole cloves
Instructions: Place saucepan on stove at medium/low heat. Combine water, vanilla extract and sugar in pan then add all ingredients and simmer for approximately 1.5 hours. Pears will become translucent and syrup will become fragrant allow simple to cool then strain well to remove all spices and clarify (use fine strainer for finally pass).
This cocktail bright and fruit forward with spice notes. Fresh pommegranate and cranberry bring this cocktail to life and club soda allows it to be enjoyed all day. Enjoy it as a cocktail or make fill a punch bowl using these proportions. The club soda will lose it effervescence over time, so you will want to refresh often. Garnishes can be simply floated on top of punch bowl.
•1 1/2oz of Patron Barrel Select Reposado
•1 1/2oz of Spice Cranberry Pomegranate Syrup
Garnish: Fresh Cranberry, Fresh Pomegranate Seeds and 3 thin sliced lime wheels
Instructions: Layer Collins glass or Highball glass with ice fresh cranberries, pomegranate seeds and lime wheels (lime wheels should be placed against outside wall of glass). Combine patron BS reposed and Cranberry pomegranate syrup in mixing glass, stir with whole ice and strain into prepared glass. Top with club soda.
Spiced Cranberry Pomegranate Simple Syrup
•24oz of fresh cranberries
•1 fresh pomegranate
•3” fresh ground ginger
•3 cups Demerara sugar
•4 cups of water
•6 cinnamon sticks
•6 star anise pods
•3 whole nutmeg (smash, do not grind so nutmeg can be easily strained from syrup)
•24 whole cloves
Instructions: Place saucepan on stove at medium/low heat. Combine water and sugar in pan then add all ingredients and simmer for approximately 2 hours. Cranberries will pop and syrup will be come fragrant. Allow simple to cool then strain well to remove all spices and clarify (use fine strainer for finally pass).
